A countryside table, cooked by the family
“Stou Harilaou” means a table under the perennial olive trees, away from the rush of town.
The taverna sits in the green of Corfu, surrounded by olive trees and a quiet landscape. The food here is home-cooked — Corfiot and Greek specialties made by mother, with fresh ingredients.
Whenever the season allows, we use our own produce. The wine is local and the prices are fair — as they should be at a real countryside taverna.

A nice little rural restaurant with a great view. The food is prepared with love — the meat was super tender and the fries exceptionally crispy. As a final meal in Greece, it was the tastiest, putting anything near the beach to shame. Simply authentic.

A long and winding road brings you to this “back in time” place with breathtaking views and tasty food. The calamari was some of the best I’ve ever had. Authentic Greek cuisine — forget those places at the beach filled with tourists.

Far away from all the tourist noise, somewhere in the mountains, surrounded by old olive trees, there is a wonderful house with a woman whose eyes tell more than a thousand words. Simple as life, but tasty. Enjoy this la dolce vita, Greek style.
